Festool Announces Pending Launch of New Cordless Power Tools

Festool USA has announced that it will launch its comprehensive new lineup of cordless tools throughout North America on July 1. The new cordless line features new pricing and warranty advantages for woodworkers, craftsmen and DIY hobbyists of all levels. 

The cordless tools are powered with the new Li-HighPower 4.0 HPC-ASI 18 V Battery Pack, which offers a compact and light design. All tools in Festool’s new lineup are compatible with the new battery pack.

The headliners of the new cordless lineup are the TID 18 Impact Driver and the T 18 Easy Drill Driver. The TID 18 features a standard quick-release chuck and T-Mode control for intelligent fastening. The T 18 Easy delivers a single, keyless chuck, two-speed gearbox and stepless speed control. Both tools offer the EC TEC brushless motor, magnetic bit storage and removable belt clip and start at $199.
