Nature Home Makes Substantial Manufacturing Investments in Cambodia for North America

Nature Home has acquired Paladin Lake, a manufacturer of craft engineered wood flooring and recently broke ground on a 1,000,000 square foot Ridged Core flooring manufacturing campus, both located in Cambodia to service the North American and International markets.

Both facilities are in the Sihanoukville Economic Zone. Established in 2008, the 2,750-acres is located about 7 miles from the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port in southwestern Cambodia’s Preah Sihanouk province.

XueBin She, Chairman and one of the founders Nature Home, said, “In the past several months, we have worked diligently to expand our overseas production capacity. Through these investments in Cambodia, we are creating a manufacturing platform focused on the North American and International markets, while enhancing our in-house research and development capabilities.”

Nature Home acquired Paladin Lake to gain manufacturing capabilities and a workforce of skilled, experienced individuals. Paladin Lake produces a broad line of engineered flooring and is vertically integrated from plywood to finished product. The workforce capabilities align with increasing demand for cost-effective craft designs such as, wider-width planks, geometric designs, unique veneer treatments, new surface textures and craft colors through special techniques.

Nature Home also recently broke ground for its state-of-the-art campus covering 1,000,000 square feet designed with the latest technology. The initial phase of the campus is expected to open the 4th quarter of 2019. When completed, there will be 20 extrusion lines, to include research and development, a dedicated laboratory for quality control and performance testing. “When completed, total output capacity is expected to be 100 million square feet per year at this location,” said Raymond Fang – CEO International Division.

“The acquisition and green-field manufacturing investments strengthens Nature’s position as a global market leader and positions its Ridged Core and Engineered Wood flooring facilities to lead in Innovation and technology, while remaining agile,” said Dewevai Buchanan, COO – International Division.
