Kentwood Partners with Sustainable Harvest International

Kentwood announced that it is taking its environmental commitment one step further by partnering with not-for-profit organization Sustainable Harvest International.

Founded in 1997, Sustainable Harvest International was created with the mission to preserve the environment by partnering with families to improve well-being through sustainable farming. To date, Sustainable Harvest International has partnered with over 2,800 smallholder farmers who have planted 4 million trees, and transformed 25,000 acres of degraded land to regenerative, organic farms.

Kentwood is proud to announce that they are the primary sponsor for Sustainable Harvest International’s Panama Program. Reforestation efforts in Panama’s rural communities are a vital component of this program and a cause Kentwood is honored to support. As part of this program, Sustainable Harvest International works with locals in this region to plant thousands of trees each year and, where appropriate and feasible, promote the creation of forest reserves and protected areas. By supporting this program, Kentwood hopes to protect the beautiful, strong and authentic elements of nature that have inspired them in the past and present, preserving these qualities for generations to come.
