City Floor Supply Recently Hosted Bona Certified Craftsman Training

City Floor Supply (CFS) recently hosted a two-day Bona Certified Craftsman Training for hardwood flooring contractors. Rob Johnson and Tony Battaglia from Bona were on hand to facilitate the training workshops at the distributor’s North American headquarters located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

This training event was designed for experienced hardwood floor contractors looking to improve their techniques, connect with other contractors, and learn more about how to apply Bona finishes. In order to participate, hardwood floor contractors were required to be in business a minimum of five years and have a minimum of three years sand and finish experience.

Students received hands-on training covering all aspects of how to install, renovate and maintain wood floors with Bona’s product systems. One of the most popular sessions was the Bona Craft Oil 2K application. Contractors had a chance to apply and work with the finish, which was beneficial because it exemplifies the European craft oil look that is so in demand by homeowners at the moment.

According to Mike Glavin, Founder of City Floor Supply, “We were thrilled to host the Bona Certified Craftsman Training at our facility. Bona is an industry leader and has long been known for the quality of their educational programs.  This training course will allow our contractors to take their skills and market presence to the next level!”

City Floor Supply’s next in-house event will take place on November 16, 2017 – they are hosting an Oneida Demo day.
