Foam Products Corp (FPC) is announced GREENGUARD Gold Certification for its underlayments.
Eclipse II, Silencer Superior, Eco Silencer Plus, Eco Silencer HD FOF, Eco Ultimate Silencer, and Silencer LVT underlayments are all now GREENGUARD Gold Certified products. GREENGUARD Gold certification gives consumers a safer, healthier and more dependable option for indoor air quality. Recognized and referenced by over 400 codes, rating systems, and procurement policies worldwide, UL Environment’s GREENGUARD Certification Program requires that products meet some of the world’s most rigorous standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into indoor environments.
Using dynamic environmental chamber testing, Eclipse, Silencer LVT, and Eco Silencer underlayments were tested for total VOCs, formaldehyde, and over 300 VOCs with health-based limits. The GREENGUARD label validates that these underlayments are low-emitting and support healthier indoor environments.
GREENGUARD Certification is just one of FPC’s many sustainability initiatives. Over the last 12 months, the company recycled over 700 tons of post consumer tires into its Eco Silencer line of products.
