Glitsa, a division of Rudd Co. has added MultiKote Swedish Finish to its conversion varnish line. This two-coat system produces higher build than the traditional Glitsa system, and it is available in four sheens: gloss, high semi-gloss, satin and matte. It comes in quart, gallon, 2.5-gallon and 5-gallon pails.
Each of Festool's C12 and C15 lithium-ion cordless drills have a brushless motor, as well as keyless, eccentric, depth-stop, right angle and Centrotec chucks, which the company says eliminates the expense of five or more specialized tools. The C12 operates at 10.8 volts, while the C15 operates at 14.4 volts.
DriTac Flooring Products LLC now offers a full line of adhesives and concrete sealers that have been certified by the Carpet and Rug Institutes' Green Label Plus Program for indoor air quality. Products include DriTac's 1001 All-In-One Urethane Adhesive (pictured), 7500 Eco-Urethane Adhesive, Eco-8000 Moisture Guard Concrete Moisture Barrier and Crack Suppressant and others.
Wholesalers can now purchase LeadCheck swabs through 3M, which purchased the instant lead test kit maker in 2011. This product can be used to check for lead on wood or metal surfaces, assisting contractors in complying with the EPA's Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) rule in certain states.
Wagner Meters' pen-style TH-200 Thermo Hygrometer can monitor temperature, relative humidity (RH) and dew point information on any job site. It has a digital readout, and Wagner says it is ideal for installers and inspectors alike. It uses a three-button interface and fits in a pocket.

MAPEI Corp.'s Ultrabond Eco 985 is a premium single-component, hybrid-polymer-based wood flooring adhesive; it is 100-percent-solids, isocyanate-free and easy to clean up. MAPEI says Ultrabond Eco 985 provides both a strong bond and excellent sound reduction properties, while also protecting wood flooring from moisture vapor emissions coming through concrete slabs.
IndoTeak Design has launched a line of FSC-certified engineered reclaimed teak flooring. This flooring is available in widths from 3½ to 12 inches and lengths from 4 to 10 feet. The texture of the flooring can be hand-wire-brushed or smooth-hand-sanded.
DriTac Flooring Products' DriTac SMC is a four-in-one product; it is a concrete sealer, moisture membrane, sound barrier and adhesive. This moisture-cure adhesive is VOC-compliant, and DriTac says it allows contractors to finish in one day what would normally take two or more to complete.
